Dr. Robert Zivkovic
Dr. Robert has been co-director of the Zivkovic Chiropractic Center since relocating from Detroit, Michigan in 1985. While he enjoyed practicing in Troy, Michigan at the Herfert Chiropractic Clinic, one of the largest practices in the country, he grew tired of the bitter winters, and decided to head south with his wife and co-director, Dr. Annette Zivkovic.
Dr. Robert graduated Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia in 1984. He also has a degree in engineering from Lawrence Tech University in Detroit, Michigan. He worked as an engineer for Ford Motor Company before entering chiropractic college, where he discovered his true passion for helping others achieve improved levels of health through chiropractic care.
Dr. Robert has held positions as a board member of the North Florida Chiropractic Society, and has been a longtime member of the Florida Chiropractic Society and the Dynamic Essentials President's Circle.
Dr. Robert has done numerous postgraduate studies in the fields of sports chiropractic, Gonstead adjusting technique, Pierce-Stillwagon adjusting technique, and cold-laser therapy.
On a personal note, Dr. Robert has been instrumental in aiding the refugees from the Bosnia/Serbia conflict who have relocated to Jacksonville. He has helped in numerous fundraising projects for both their resettlement and their church. He has served both in the capacity of their health-care provider and, in many instances, an interpreter for those with language difficulties as they learn to acclimate to their new country.
